Two Months Old

Already our little lady is 2 months old! Time flies! She makes me SO much less nervous now that's she's getting bigger. She's also getting very close to sleeping through the night! Perfect timing since I get to go back to work on Monday. It's going to be rough not being with her all day but we'll have more fun at night hanging out together with Daddy now!

She's definitely not a newborn anymore, and she's getting more and more personality every day. And she's such a pretty little lady, although I know I'm a bit biased ;) Check out our quick 2 month session photos of Miss Julie here!

Julie Wiggles - Week 8

Today, my little lady has been with us for 8 weeks, and I am turning 30 years old. Phew! But luckily 30 is the new 20, so I don't feel terribly old today. We are pretty much doing chores today, since Mike is at work and it's snowing. No one is here to watch Baby for me to let me out of the house so little Lady and I are just hanging out. She's taking a nap right now so Mom can do some work online.

So what's new with Julie this week? So far she's working on smiling more and more. It's still a lot of work if she's not feeling it, but I know a big smiley baby is just around the corner. She's great at watching things, and she gets really fussy if you don't walk her around and show her things when she's bored. It can be frustrating but it's great because that means she's curious and interested in her surroundings. What a good little girl! She also loves to wiggle now. So cute!

This week, we are going to Great Wolf Lodge. Daddy may not be able to go now, but Jason, Erika, Kylie, Logan, Sophia and Mason will be there to play with. I'll be showing off photos of the trip soon! And this weekend, I'll shoot her next set of photos for 2 months. For now... Julie's 8 week photos!

Julie - Week 7

Little lady is getting so big! She's been a little bit more fussy lately, but honestly, I think it's because she is also awake more and becoming more and more aware. She loves to look around. She gets irritated if you try to hold her close and she's too awake, she would rather be sitting up straight so she can see what's going on. That was a bit frustrating the other night when she wanted to do that after our first middle-of-the-night feeding. She had a rough night (worse for mama!) but thankfully Daddy came to the rescue at about 5:45am. The next night (last night) she made up for it and slept 4.5 and then 3 hours for me! Good girl! She was quite fidgety during her second sleep, and I'm not sure what that's about, but she was sleeping at least.

Today we went to visit Ellie and Aunt Angie, and of course she wanted to be a fussy pants, but otherwise we had fun. Ellie was smiling a bunch at Julie, even if Julie was being a poop. But while Ellie was taking her nap, Julie had fallen asleep and giggled in her sleep while Angie was holding her. SO ADORABLE! I hope we have more and more smiles and even more giggles soon!

Happy Valentine's Day, Julie!

It was Julie's first Valentine's Day! She wasn't too excited, let's be honest. But she got her very first present to open, which she did the day after with Daddy. What did she get? A nice pink swimsuit for this summer! Happy Valentine's Day, Julie!

Julie - Week 6

Little lady made her first trip up north this weekend! Grandma Patti, Grandpa Joe, and Great Aunt Kim were so excited to spend time with her. It was nice for Mama to get a few extra hands to hold little Julie. Great Grandma Wanda hung out all weekend too and Julie got to meet Great Grandma and Grandpa Noseda too. She also met aunt Judi and uncle Alan, what a busy weekend! She has so many admirers.

The only bad thing was that she was really fussy. I think it must have been the new place (or maybe the formula, it just seemed different despite the fact that I bought the same kind we have at home for her) but she hardly slept, which isn't typical for her, and she cried a lot more than she usually does. It was super cute when she cuddled with Grandpa. He was a good stand in for Dad, since he wasn't there.

The little miss is happy to be home though, and now she's back to normal. She actually slept with only waking up once the last two nights. She slept 5 or so hours in a row the other night, and that was the only wake up, though I had to get up a little early. Similar today, but I can't wait for all night sleeping someday ;) Love my baby!
