Halloween is almost here! Julie is sporting a new black cat outfit thanks to Auntie! She's going to go Trick-or-Treating on Saturday (if the weather isn't too crazy) as a dragon! It'll be lots of fun... I hope! Anyway, this past week, Julie learned to turn her pages for her book and can say "how" (hello) into the telephone, but only if she feels like it. It's impressive how much she's really starting to talk, although not much is discernible just yet! The two of us went up to visit Grandmer and Poopa this weekend. Mommy went to visit her friends and Julie got to play with grandma and grandpa. She loves her musical chair and her new little people farm. And then of course, I had to bring her walker. For practice and containment ;)
Julie and I went to Magan's baby shower on Saturday. She was a very good girl (even if she did pee on aunt Judi at the end of it). I like it when the baby behaves. She did get a couple snacks on some veggies and people were handing her around so that helped too. Afterwards, we went home and then Grandma played with her with Aunt Kimmy and then put her to bed again as I went to a few haunted trails with Judi, Jess and their cousins and significant others. They were more fun than the one we went to down here, even though that one was definitely cooler ;)
Julie started holding her little phone up to her ear and saying "how" (hello), so that's pretty fun too. She's going to be 10 months old this weekend. I can't believe how close to "1" she is!

Julie's 1st Jack-o-Lantern
October 20, 2015
Last night, we got ourselves in gear and headed out to the garage (so warm out for this time of year!) so we could carve pumpkins for the first time! Daddy harnessed you in and kept you pulled back from the carving tools with his long arms. Mommy made a pumpkin for you, you helped Daddy with his stencil, and Auntie finished first so she could get you in your jammies for the evening :) It was lots of fun.

Julie: Week 42
October 20, 2015
Mommy needs to start getting more creative with the outfits (and we need some more headbands!) haha! Anyway, you got sick again this week. Just another sniffly cold, but it messed with your sleep and such a bit. Still a pretty happy girl. Although we ARE back to the extreme fighting the diaper change and car seat. If only we could reason with the babies. Mom and Dad went to the New Salem corn maze on Friday night. Auntie was supposed to come but she stayed home with you since she's going to go again with Branden in a week or so anyway. Saturday, we went to see cousin Roy and some family members you hadn't met before, like cousin Jenny and her boys, Justin's girlfriend Dana, etc. You got a little crabby a few times, but you are a little sick so that's okay. I wanted to go to the "Zoo Goes Boo" event for Halloween at the John Ball Zoo but Daddy thought it was a little too cold so we skipped it and went furniture shopping instead. And we didn't even buy anything! Oh well.

Julianna: Week 41
October 13, 2015
Fall fun has been going on. We haven't gotten to go play in the leaves yet, but they are changing and we should be able to rake some up soon. Julie and I went to see auntie Kristin and Olivia, with aunt Thome on Friday. We went to the Gull Meadow pumpkin patch. Not everything was open but with little babies, it was okay because we didn't have to go far to see some fun things. We got lots of fun fall photos of the girls (see previous post) by the mums and the pumpkins and Julie even got to pick out her first pumpkin. We went to Ellie's birthday party on Saturday. We got her a cute outfit for the cooler weather. And she smashed her cake so well, and now I'm excited to start planning Julie's birthday. On Monday, I started working on the date for her party and even put together an invite for it. It has a bit of work needed yet, but I think we're going to do an ice cream theme. So many cute things! More to come on that.

Pumpkin Patch Adventure
October 9, 2015
Little Olivia invite Julie (and Mom, and aunt Thome) to the Gull Meadow Farms this past Friday. Julie had lots of fun wandering around the lovely place and getting to pick out her very first pumpkin! Olivia is walking so she was REALLY wandering. She even got some cider (sorry, Jules, a little longer before I'll give you that) and a donut. Jules did get to try a little donut at least. What a fun day we had, despite the chilly air!

Julie Drooly: Week 40
October 6, 2015
Julie has been out longer than she was in this week! How time flies, it's crazy. We love her so much and she's so much fun. But boy, she's got an attitude. She bit Grandma Charyl and Aunt Kara, which I hope doesn't become a habit. She's been waking up at least once a night (aside from twice in the past few days) and stressing poor Mommy out. She also has been doing her back bend when she's mad about going to bed, going in her car seat, diaper changes... etc. Thankfully not EVERY time, but often enough to be frustrating. She's also had some sleep regression, so that adds to the stress. It all comes with the territory, I'm sure.
Anyway, this past weekend, Julie and I went home (Aunt Kara too) to see some relatives who were up for Great Grandpa and Grandma Noseda's 65th wedding anniversary. Very impressive. She was scared of Grandpa Joe at first, as usual, but they were fast friends again because he always plays and has fun with her. We met cousin Jeff (who is doing well, prayers that it continues) for the first time (and uncle Alan came to visit). She was a little fussy and nervous with the new people but kind of came around by the end of the night. The next day she met Great Uncle Mark and Great Aunt Carol, and Great Great Aunts Sue and Chrissy, and Great Great Uncle Jerry. She was pretty good for the party but had a few moments of course. And then aunt Judi came by Sunday after her LONG 3 hour nap. Busy weekend!
