It's almost Thanksgiving and Julie is dressing up! We'll have her in this outfit for Thanksgiving too (hopefully she doesn't mess it up)! I was thinking she'd be walking by now, thus the skirt, but she's pretty good at getting around on hands and knees anyway.
Julie got to visit Ellie on Thursday. She and Ellie were playing a little. Ellie's walking like a champ, and they'll have more fun when Julie can too. Ellie wasn't letting us do much on our own. We played Exploding Kittens a couple times, but that was all we could manage. Then we just hung out with the kidlets. Angie put on a video with a song called "Dino Bus" and it was pretty hilarious (showed it to Kara and now we both have it stuck in our heads). Ellie was dancing and Jules was more or less mesmerized. Then we gave them a bath, yay!! So cute.
This weekend, we did some cleaning because I was supposed to be having a jewelry party. It was snowing a lot for the first time this year, though, and no one was able to come. Well shoot. Turns out no one who was actually coming was planning on buying anything so I guess it didn't matter. And the house got cleaned for Thanksgiving so there's a bonus. Julie took some LONG naps too, which is very nice, and hopefully we can make that a normal thing.
On Sunday, when taking her pjs off to get dressed, I picked Julie up and was wiggling her. I said "shake it shake it!" as a wiggled her and then she started shaking her head. She doesn't do it every time but it's so cute when she does. She also will give you kisses when you ask for them, if she feels like it. Love that little miss!!!

Julie - Week 46
November 17, 2015
Hard to believe that in six weeks, Julie will be 1 year old! I can't wait for all the stuff coming up! Her first Thanksgiving is NEXT week, her first Christmas is just around the corner (I've been going crazy shopping, mostly online, and she's got lots of fun stuff to open up!).
Anyway, this coming week is my jewelry party that Julie is hosting ;) so she's wearing some fun jewelry and a fancy outfit that will be one of her birthday presents (I can't resist getting photos of them before the weekly photos are over). This past week was a little rough. She got her second flu shot on Tuesday and spiked a fever by Wednesday night. She slept like a rock but woke up with it, still. Not real warm, it had gone down from the night before, but it was still there. She was a little crabby but she was okay. The fever broke overnight that night and she's been good since. Phew! I don't know what I'm going to do when she really gets sick.
She's been back and forth waking up here and there at night and then sleeping all night again. I gave in and started using a blanket at night since the bedrooms are so cold. I don't like it but it's not too troublesome yet. Fingers crossed.
Grandma Patti came to visit this weekend. I had to go to Port Huron on Saturday and get some church stuff done on Sunday and Mike was hunting so that was helpful. Lots of playing! Julie's also starting to scream in public which is not my favorite thing. She did so in Olive Garden. Luckily it was already loud in there... she's also getting more and more of an attitude if she doesn't get what she wants. Not sure there's much we can do about that. When she spazzes out like that, I don't give her what she wants (usually) but that doesn't help, obviously. We'll just have to roll with it for now.
Now, check out her cuteness. Despite the horrible lighting, I got lots more than usual adorable shots of her this week!

Jules: Week 45
November 10, 2015
Another molar is poking through. Julie's been a little fussy this week, but I think that might have something to do with it. She has also STILL been waking up at night. She always goes back to sleep but I just don't know what to do to make herr nights more restful. I'm super worried your bedroom is too cold, so I started dressing her in an extra layer. It worked at least for the one night so we'll keep it up for a bit! Stupid cold weather. I'm just not thinking she should have a blanket just yet.
On to the fun stuff! Julie was all over the place this week. She went to Grandma Nore and Grandpa Mike's a lot of times this week because Grandma Charyl had to go to Chicago, but she got to hang out with her the rest of the week when she got back. Daddy was in Europe for week, but we managed pretty well, considering. And THEN, Julie got to stay at the Amway this weekend! I had my boudoir marathon, so we had the hotel room, so we figured we'd use it! Daddy and Jules met Mommy downtown and we had dinner and got in a little bit of swimming before she was VERY ready for bed!
More adventures, every week!

Julianna: Week 44
November 3, 2015
I've had to start doing Julie's weekly photos on Sunday instead of Tuesday because of the time change. It's almost all dark by the time we get home after work nowadays. So sad! At least we're getting a warm snap/Indian summer this week to make up for it ;) Anyway, Julie did some hanging out with daddy a few nights last week. I had a Wine and Canvas event on Thursday and a Halloween party to photograph Friday so he took care of her and put her to bed. It's good for him hehe. This past weekend was Halloween. Julie got to dress up as her Julie Dragon and play with Livvy and Ellie on Friday at the studio, and then went Trick or Treating on Saturday. It was very cold and very wet, so the original plan of hanging out in a wagon and following Logan and Mason didn't work out. She just went in the carrier with Daddy and went down one street, then hung out in the garage handing out candy with Fonda and Jim. Julie then played in the house with Sophia and the boys. A pretty decent first Halloween, considering the weather. Poor old Jake isn't going to be around much longer, sadly, though so it was hard to say goodbye to him when we left. He is such a good boy, but he's sick :( Sorry to end on a bad note so I'll just say Julie and me are on our own this week without Daddy (he's in Europe) but we're doing pretty well. That's always nice but we'll be glad to have him home :)

Halloween
October 30, 2015
The day before Halloween, Julie and her best girlfriends got together to take photos in their Halloween costumes. Taking a bunch of babies into the studio and expecting them to sit nice and smile while wearing very strange clothing is very unreasonable, we learned, but everyone had a little bit of fun and we got some cute (less than posed) photos!

Ten Months
October 30, 2015
Julie is getting so big. She seems tall (long legs!) and is now into 12 month pajamas. She's standing and walking along the furniture, running around in her walker, and VERY talkative. So far, she doesn't have a lot of REAL words at all, but she has started starting to repeat things once and awhile. She'll say "Hello" (or her version of it) into her phone. It's so cute. She refuses to say Mama or Dada just yet, but I think she'll be talking A LOT soon enough. Very loud "conversations" are fairly normal. She's working on more teeth and crawling all over the place to get into any and everything. Many MANY more adventures to come, I'm sure!
