Up with the Tree!

It seems like we started a little later than usual, but not by much. Being gone all week last week with Grandma Noseda's funeral moved us back a little bit but we will make it work! The kids took a WONDERFULLY long nap, long enough for Mike and I to get all the decorations out and most of them up as well! The tree was just about ready to decorate when they woke up, and we did dinner and a bath first but then it was time to put up the ornaments. I put the girls in the Christmas jammies from last year and we went to town! :)

Julie & Laina - Christmas Photos

I was trying to put together our family Christmas card this year and decided that even though our summer photos were amazing, they just don't work for winter. I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out a cool set up to create in the studio without having to drag all of my Christmas decorations all the way there, when I realized the look I wanted was possible right at the house! It took some rearranging... moving the dresser, bed, and hanging up string lights and garland... and honestly I bought some new pillow and an expensive blanket for it but whatever! All in the name of good photos.

The girls were really good and they like their adorable sweater dresses. They even got to wear "makeup" (blush to make their cheeks rosy) for their photo shoot. I love my pretty little ladies!

Corgis in the Park

Right after we told Ricky we'd go to the zoo with them on Saturday, we found out there was Corgis in the Park at Riverside. So after the zoo, we got some lunch and headed over. We missed most of it, and parked in the wrong spot but luckily we saw lots of corgis heading out and the kids got to pet so many of them. Also I was in heaven as I love those little creatures :D

Zoo Goes Boo with Neil

It was kind of last minute but we were invited to go with Ricky, Christa and Neil to Zoo Goes Boo so we did it. Not too cold out, and we broke out last year's Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini Moon outfits to go. We were able to find a lot more treat stations this year AND quite a few animals were ready to hang out with us up close and personal! Julie and Neil bonded and had lots of fun together.
