Dahlia Acres

September 23, 2018

Random Facebook events sometimes lead to adventures! The Ronas family have been in Japan for a couple weeks and we hadn't seen them in a long time, so we coordinated a trip to the Dahlia Acres open house on Sunday in Allendale. It was quite a drive, and we really weren't sure what to expect but we had a surprisingly fun time picking flowers, eating corn dogs and just hanging out near the band. The girls were glad to see each other and they had fun collecting pretties. Also playing in the dirt (well, mine did anyway!) and just spending time with friends.

^Laina drank the water. Ack!

^Beauties!

^Some serious picking going on here!

Dunneback & Girls

September 21, 2018

It's finally fall and time for all the fun activities that it entails! I was supposed to have a session on this particular Friday but about two days before, it was cancelled. A great excuse to go do something fun! Ron was going to watch the girls for a couple hours so we decided to go to a farm/orchard north of town. And since we were nearby, we invited Mike and Lenore too.

Since we were hungry, we started the adventure with donuts, then the girls went around playing on all the fun stuff in the back. We also hung out with the ponies. Oh and picked apples but that was probably the least exciting thing we did! Lunch too, and then home to rest. What a fun day!

^This place really is a cool one to go to!

Family Photos in Muskegon

August 31, 2018

This year for family photos, we met the Gaupers in Muskegon. We loved the photos from last year so much that we wanted them to do it again. And their mini session deal really is too awesome to pass up so... The beach in Muskegon was beautiful and there weren't a lot of people there that late in the evening so we had lots of time for some great photos. The Ronas's went first, which was good because Julie and Laina were both being poops. But we got them in the right mood after a bit and we love our photos again!!!

Where will we go next year?!?
