Easter Eggs and Easter Hunt

April 2021

Because the weather was getting warmer and everyone was mostly vaccinated, we were able to have family over for some Easter fun! After the girls decorated eggs, that weekend was lots of fun with doing a big Easter egg hunt thanks to Daddy and his Easter gifts. Grandpas and Grandmas came to play, even Grandma Wanda!

We were a little bit late getting our eggs done this year but we did it!

The second part of decorating didn't work as intended, oh well!

Cookie Decorating

Mommy made Easter cookies this year and made a few extra for the girls to decorate (and give to the DEFINITELY appreciative grandparents ;). They even got to use the piping bags for frosting and LOTS of sugary sprinkles. Yummmmm.

Cousins at Uncle Roy's on Gun Lake

March & April 2021

Roy and Trish bought a place on Gun Lake and that means Julie and Elaina finally got to meet their little cousins! They had met Riley and Marina before but they were all so little at the time... so this was a lot of fun. The girls played and we also were able to celebrate Marina's birthday. We are super excited that "Uncle" Roy has a house on the lake, and hopefully we'll see much more of our cousins now!

Happy 4th Birthday to Elaina

Laina got a Zoom birthday too, and we had a good time! Mommy decorated with balloon art assembly help from Daddy and made an ocean cake and mermaid tail cookies to fit the theme! Even Miss Morgan, Laina's teacher, logged on to our birthday song and it was a lot of fun for Laina to see everyone even if it wasn't in person.

We even shared these with the grandparents (though they had to come pick 'em up!)

Baketivity with Auntie

January 2021

Thanks to Auntie getting her vaccine, we got to see her often in the New Year! Grandma Nore and Grandpa Mike got the girls this Baketivity set (and cute aprons to use with it!) so when Auntie came over, we made her help make cake pops. Only a couple mistakes were made and they turned out... well, just okay... but everyone had fun!
