It finally happened, a stomach bug got through our defenses. Julie got sick on Tuesday morning. I kept her home and Ron and Charyl came over and helped me out since their power was out. Laina actually threw up too, but I'm not entirely sure she was actually sick in hindsight, as she only did the once and wasn't acting overly tired or fussy. Either way, Julie was sick and I was extra careful to keep it contained. (So far, as I write this, only she has been sick, and all better now so fingers crossed we avoided it). It wasn't so bad in the end, now that we got through it. Obviously it could have been worse and maybe it was good for me to have to deal with.
Anyway, the rest of the week wasn't so unfortunate. We had a nice day at home (just us girls) on Friday and Auntie came to visit in the evening. We did Christmas photos with Allie and Adalynn in the studio, as well as some birthday photos for the big girls. We also went to see the reindeer and the Christmas parade in Byron Center. You and Adalynn enjoyed it more than the big girls but it was something to do.
We went to dinner with the Ronases on Sunday night, they had their tree up and you kind of didn't mess with it too much, so there's hope that you won't be too touchy when we finally get ours up (Saturday maybe...?) Anyway, you've been so cute and smiley lately. You've been loving jumping and rolling around with me. AND you have started sleeping through the night again (usually). Just a couple rounds of "cry it out" and we're doing good!
