This year, we were supposed to go spend Halloween with the Ronas family and a few of their friends but with Kara's wedding less than two weeks away, I was just too nervous to risk it. After carving pumpkins a few days before (mostly naked, but with witch hats, apparently!), we did a "tour" of sorts to visit some of our safest favorites for Halloween.
Our first stop was Grandma Charyl and Grandpa Ron, who dressed up like rock stars (sort of to go with the girls' costumes, which they changed that morning in favor of Sailor Moon for the 500th time) and had treats to share. Then we did an outdoor dinner with Grandma Nore and Grandpa Mike. Pizza, yummm! Last we did a fun (and wonderfully clever!) scavenger hunt at Auntie and Byron's house, which was a poetic hunt and collecting of bugs all over the yard.
No trick-or-treating, but the girls certainly didn't seem to mind!
