Dear Baby,
You are so new to me! In fact, this time last week, I didn't even know you were there! You sneaky little bugger! Just so you know, you're already making mommy very nervous. I suppose I'm going to have to get very used to that for quite some time. I know there are so many things that can go wrong with you this early on and I don't want that to happen. We figured out you are most likely going to be a Christmas baby (or at least likely December). I kind of feel bad about that for you, but I promise I will make sure you get both a nice birthday AND Christmas in the future. You will make a good gift for you grandparents (and us!) though.
Aunt Kara, Grandmas and Grandpas are all very excited. I have lots of friends lined up for you too (a couple big boys, a big girl, one little girl and one we aren't sure about just yet!), so I really hope you behave yourself and keep growing healthy and big and strong so this time next year you can start playing with them! Please be a good little one and don't torture your mommy too much, because if you do, poor Daddy is not going to know what to do with her.
Oh, and thank Aunt Kara ahead of time, she's a useful helper when I'm losing my mind already.
