Only one more day until we hit 29 weeks! Little baby had another good check-up yesterday and I was very happy to hear that everything looks good still... including the fact that my weight gain is right on track. It's still kind of upsetting when you start tipping the scales at 170 but as long as everything is going all right, I guess I can't complain. Tonight we have our maternity photos with Summer Jean Photography, which should be fun! It's just a short session and we are going all the way out to West Olive to do it but there should be some good fall colors, and that's what I want!
In other news, little Missy (no name as of yet!) has been really starting to move around in there. About two weeks ago, she really got moving, and though she doesn't do it a lot EVERY day, there are some days, like today, that it feels like she's partying in there. So finally, Daddy has gotten to feel her kick a few times, and so has Grandma Patti and Judi. Grandma Charyl and Aunt Kara have yet to have such luck but I bet they will soon! I showed Dr. Lown where I feel her the most often (up on the right side by my ribs) and he says if it doesn't hurt yet (no much, although maybe a little), it probably will because my liver is over that way and thus it's a sensitive spot. Uh oh! Thankfully, at least so far, her wiggles haven't kept me up at night. I'm sure as she gets bigger and tougher, that will change too, but I'll enjoy those relatively comfortable nights while I can.
I haven't been taking hardly ANY belly photos, so I feel like a slacker but here's one of me feeling pretty darn good about having not gained any weight in my face just yet :) And there will be lots of good ones from tonight coming soon, and since my baby showers are in the next couple weeks, lots from that too!!!
