Julie: 9 month photo session

September 25, 2015

Since Ellie was in the studio, Julie decided she would piggy back her 1 year session with her 9 month session! She was such a good girl and we got lots of pretty ones (of both of the girls!).

^Ellie is the funnest!

^Proper little lady!

^Surprise?!?

^This photo is one of my favorite ever of her.

^Such a happy girl. Love it.

^Thanks for your help, aunt Angie!

Nine Months

September 30, 2015

Julie has been in the world JUST ABOUT as long as she was in my belly. It's so crazy how fast time is flying, but so far, I love all there is about having a baby. She's getting so big, learning so many new things (crawling, waving, clapping, yelling!), and there's so much more to do! She's eating lots of new foods (and enjoying most of them) and even started working on real solids this month. She's got eight teeth with more on the way, and she's just started really getting interested in reading books, which Mommy is super excited about. She's even got her own recliner to sit in for reading time (though laps work well, too!). I can't wait to see what this month has in store as well!

Julie - Week 39

September 29, 2015

Big girl is getting SO BIG! She's developing an attitude, although it MAY have something to do with teeth, too, it's always hard to say. This past week, Julie hung out with Uncle Nick quite a few times before he had to leave again. He's a big fan of hers! Julie also went to another Byron Center football game (she watched the parade too!) for homecoming and fell asleep before halftime. Grandma Patti was up so she played with her ALL weekend. So much fun. We even went to a jewelry party on Saturday with Aunt Kristin and Olivia. There were LOTS of little girls there so Julie got to socialize a bit. Puss kept putting necklaces on me, which was also fun ;)

My little miss is just about 9 months old now too. I can't believe it!

Julianna - Week 38

September 22, 2015

Wow, Julie is getting so big. She's crawling around at top speed, expressing her opinion, learned to eat solids, going to Byron Center football games. She might as well be graduating already! Well, obviously not but it's so fun to watch her grow and learn and everything. This past week we did go to see Byron Center play (and this week in their homecoming, so even more reason to wear our Bulldog shirt now!). Julie enjoyed it. We only stayed until halftime as it was very close to bedtime but she loves to people watch so she was happy. We also went to Klackle Orchard (and then Thome Farms) as you saw in the previous post, so that's always exciting. We have 8 confirmed teeth as well and we're done with the ear infection antibiotic. On to the next adventure!

Here are a few photos from our adventure at the football game last Friday.

Apple Picking

September 20 & 22, 2015

I'm so excited that Julie is a bit bigger for the fall. There are so many fun things to do this time of year and we've already taken advantage of some of them! On Sunday, we went to Klackle Orchards in Greenville. It's a little more touristy than I remember, but lots of fun for kids and Mike thought it was neat so that's a good start. Julie got to see all sorts of fun farm animals, go in a big old corn maze (first time for me on that one too), and pick some apples! We bought some cider and donuts too, because, well, why not?

Yesterday, Kristin had us out to her family's farm to get a few of the apples that aren't going to get picked this year anyway. So many pretty ones! Julie was a little fussy when we first got there but she got to bite an apple so that made her happier. Lots more fall fun to come!
