Two years ago today we found out that Julie was a girl via cake. And now I'm already getting ready to plan her little brother or sister's gender reveal. I didn't think I wanted to this time but now I'm thinking I do. I just went to the doctor's office and the ultrasound will be on September 13. Hooray, Julie will find out if she's going to have a brother or sister, and stop insisting it will be a "brother sister" ;)
Anyway, today I went to the appointment and saw the PA instead of Dr. Lown. I did the once last time too if I remember right. She's nice too. She had a heck of a time getting the heartbeat though because baby wouldn't quit MOVING. She said the static-y sound we were hearing was him/her moving around in there but baby wouldn't quit! She chased it around for quite a few minutes before she finally got the heartbeat. It was in the 150s to 160 area. I'm starting to think this one might be a boy after all... I get headaches and he won't sit still... sounds like a boy to me ;)
Anyway, I'm exited to get a chance to have the ultrasound. Maybe I will plan a party. It'll have to be on Sept 17 because that's already a long time to keep a secret like that... four days, that's forever!
