Another week, another Lainer. My happy baby has been inundated with Trolls music, so we're wearing a Princess Poppy headband to commemorate... ha! We had another busy weekend. I finally got to see Laina do her swim class. Since Julie was there too, this time, I had to explain to her why she had to wait to go in the pool. She wasn't thrilled with that but it was her turn eventually. Thankfully Allie was there to kind of keep her distracted. Son's friend from California was visiting so they wanted to go to the beach, since we missed that the week before. It was pretty nice. And the Coast Guard Festival was going on but we stayed on the south end of town and it was actually pretty quiet. Julie and Allie went in the lake with their daddies (well, mostly Julie) and generally got COATED in sand. Laina just hung out with the moms and bas (and Adalynn) and generally stayed in the shade.
Julie went to stay with Auntie for a sleepover Saturday night and I made Daddy get up with Laina so I could kind of sleep in. He fell asleep on the couch with her. Hey, at least it works! We went to church (Laina stayed with us instead of nursery because she was being good) and then met Hien and Charles and family to go back to Silver Lake. They wanted to show Son's friend some more of some real Michigan stuff. Fun trip.
This week hasn't been to eventful developmentally but you DID sleep in Monday and Tuesday. I loved it! Let's try to make that more of a habit, ay, Lainer? ;)
