This little lady has changed so much in the last year. Well, obviously! But I can't believe how long it's been... but let's save that stuff for next week's post. Laina got to go play at Grandma and Grandpa's up north this weekend with me and Julie. Come to find out we left just in time cuz Grandma and Grandpa got the flu right after we left. They are on the mend but still scary! Someone in Julie's class had it too but still staying healthy so far, fingers crossed.
Other than the potential health scares, it's been an uneventful week, and in January, that's a good thing. Laina is starting to learn how to stand up for herself to Julie. Used to be, Julie would just take toys or tell Laina to go away and Laina would just take it, but already she's starting to let Julie know how she feels about it. I was hoping she'd be a little less forceful than her sister, but no such luck. When you do something Laina doesn't like, she SCREAMS in your face about it!
In other news, Laina loves brushing her teeth. She screams in your face if you take her toothbrush away!
