Julie is 30 weeks old and 7 months this week. Wow, time flies and it's been so much fun getting to know this sweet little miss. She spent lots of time with the last of her immediate family that she was yet to meet, Aunt Billie, Uncle Paul, and first cousins Tyler and Corinne. I think they liked her. I know she liked them very much. Corinne wants to try to make sure to spend more time with her little Julie girl, and I hope we can make that happen. She's also went to the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Byron Days Parade (with Daddy and Grandpa Ron) and generally kept busy as she often does. She's still working on crawling and she can sit by herself for a bit, although you have to catch her once and awhile when she leans over. She's eaten sweet potatoes and peas this week (which makes the list green beans, squash, carrots and those two so far). Growing up fast. It'll be exciting to see what she does next!
She's wearing her swimsuit for photos this week because we have our first swim lessons on Saturday. Photos to come, of course!

Hot Air Balloon Festival
July 24, 2015
I heard about this last year but I missed it. I was excited to be able to take Julie to Hudsonville this year to see the hot air balloons. Kara, Mike and I brought her after Mike and Kara got out of work. It was super hot, but thankfully was cooling down a bit by the evening. However, it was still pretty sweaty out when we go to the fairgrounds. We met the Moe's there, and though Ellie and Jules didn't play much, they got a little face time. Mike and Chris Cunningham were there too, so it was good to see them.
Around 7:30ish, they started blowing up the balloons. There were lots, and even though they took off at different times, it was pretty fun to watch. Poor Julie got a little too hot so she wasn't really interested, but it was something to see. We were going to stay for the pay where they balloons come back and light up, but the babies were too sleepy. Maybe next year!

Cousins!
July 23, 2015
Last week, Julie FINALLY got to meet Aunt Billie Jo, Uncle Paul, and her only first cousins, Tyler and Corinne Gill. They tried to be in town for when Julie made it into the world last Christmastime, but Julie had other plans at the time. But she is so much more fun to play with now, and they sure loved her. They came into town late on Monday night, and got to meet her when she went to Grandma and Grandpa's for the day on Tuesday. I heard Julie was a very busy lady playing with them those three days. We hung out with them at Mike and Lenore's too, one night, and then when mini golfing with them the last night they were in town. We also got ice cream, of course! Corinne loves Julie and says she needs to come back soon to play with her again. I hope she does!

Squish - Week 29
July 21, 2015
I'm a little late in posting this week. Mike's family is in town (Billie Jo, Paul, Tyler and Corin) and so I had a tough time getting Julie's photos done! Anyway, we finally did at Lenore and Mike's last night so it's time to post! Julie had a fun week. She got to go to Fredrick Meijer Gardens with her best gal pals last Friday, where she pooped her pants in Twisted Rooster. She was a good girl about it anyway. We are having more and more messes, so maybe it's time to go up to the next diaper size! Anyway, gross.
So this weekend, Grandma Nore and Grandpa Mike watched Julie so we could go tubing with the Welmerinks. She had more fun than she would have with us. Babies and rivers don't mix ;) After church on Sunday, auntie Ica came to play! We went to Anna's House for lunch and then made sure to get some Bloop, Julie slept through that. Then we went for a nice long walk and then went to Perrin for dinner. Julie was crabbing a lot, but I think she was hungry. I figured she couldn't be but after we fed her, she was as chipper as anything. Roy and Tommy stopped by RIGHT after I got Julie to bed, but they'll see her in October if not before.
Julie finally got to meet her first cousins and Aunt Billie and Uncle Paul finally on Tuesday too. Apparently, she's been having fun with them while she's at Grandma Charyl's. More fun to come!

Fredrick Meijer Garden Baby Adventure
July 17, 2015
This post is a completely perfect combination of pretties and cuties. My best mommy pals, Kristin and Angie, and I took our little ladies, Olivia, Ellie, and Julianna, to Fredrick Meijer Gardens last week. Three strollers strolled through their newest exhibit, the Japanese gardens. It's huge and absolutely gorgeous. We had so much fun showing the babies all the sites (which all three of them stayed awake and pretty happy for!), taking photos of the girls and all the gorgeous landscaping, and finishing up the day at Twisted Rooster for lunch. Of course, MY little one was responsible for the one and only incident, but she was a complete angel about cleaning up her little poopy mess so I can't even be mad at her for it. Check out the cuteness and prettiness below!
