I almost forgot to post this! We had so many friends and family come to church with us to see Julie be baptized! It was on July 12 at Heritage Christian Reformed Church, where we are now members as well. Julie even wore the outfit I wore when I was baptized (as well as Aunt Kim 58 years ago). I was a little younger but it was big on me then and Julie fit into it fine. Grandma Patti cleaned it up and made it look like new again for her grand daughter :) She also wore a pretty necklace with a cross that Great Grandma Wanda got her and the bracelet Grandma Patti gave her right after she was born.
It was very fun and went well. Even though Pastor Bob was saying her name wrong, she was a good girl and had fun poking him in the face while he introduced her to church. Afterwards, we went to Monelli's for lunch to celebrate. Thank you so much to everyone (including the Welmerink's, and Uncle Rick and Aunt Jackie) who aren't in any of the photos since they didn't go to lunch) for coming and celebrating with Julie!
