Easter is just about here and this year, I figured Julie would want to be a bit more involved in decorating so we set it up. Ron and Charyl came over for dinner, which took way long to get ready, so decorating started a bit late! Us big people did the coloring part, I figured we'd have a lot less broken eggs and stained surfaces that way. Julie was pretty patient waiting for everything to be ready. We tried the wax crayon but it didn't work. The stickers didn't really want to stick either. She got a kick out of using the hairdryer to shrink wrap the eggs, but we still ended up with two eggs broken and a minor meltdown. But she came back to finish up and even got to eat the last egg she decorated! Laina had shots earlier and I think she was a little tired, but she can participate next year. Now we can hide them on Sunday and have another egg hunt!
