Laina is getting so big! We went to the doctor's today and found out that she is 12 lbs 4 oz and 23 inches. She's right in the middle of the road in both respects. Doing great so far, good old Laina! She's had a few adventures this past week! We got to go play at the Moe's house on Saturday as a family. She hung out with Simon and they both tried on their matching PJs. Julie and Ellie had a blast on the playset out in the backyard. After that, the girls spent the night at Grandma Charyl and Grandpa Ron's house. It was the first time I didn't see Laina overnight. It is a little easier with the second kid, but I missed her anyway. They had a good time with Grandma and Grandpa though, sounds like, even if they didn't sleep that well.
On that note, Laina has done two "all nights" throughout the past week. She always is up REALLY early though when she does it. Oh well, we are making progress and she's still only 2 months old. On Sunday, we met the Ronas family at the zoo and explored some. It was so warm! We actually got hot after awhile. Laina was riding in Daddy's carrier for awhile but then ended up in the stroller with her jammies wide open to keep her cool. She slept most of the time but the big girls and everyone else enjoyed the zoo, anyway. The tiger roared, it was very weird! Haha!
This upcoming week is Easter, so Laina is wearing her bunny outfit from aunt Judi and rocking the bunny ears. Of course Jules had to get in on that!
