This past week, I hardly saw my babies at all! Mike and I went to Las Vegas on a trip, and had to drop the girls off at Charyl and Ron's on Wednesday night. She was there by herself but somehow managed both of them for two days. Ron came home from a missions trip and helped the last day and a half. From what I heard, there were some fun baths and generally a good time. Laina is sleeping all night now, and she did just that for Grandma and Grandpa. Charyl sent me videos and I was missing the girls but it was great to see they were doing well.
Saturday morning, Mom and Grandma Wanda came down so Charyl and Ron dropped them both off back at home. I was afraid that Julie would have a harder time at home, but turns out she only asked for me twice. As I expected, Laina was great. Mom sent me a cute video of Julie pushing Laina in her little swing and Laina had so many big smiles. Adorable.
We got home super late because of a flight delay and everyone (but Mom) was sleeping but I did get to see my little Laina in her bassinet. She looks so much bigger now that I'm home. And she woke up with tons of smiles for me. It made me so happy, even if it was 6am and I only had 4.5 hours of sleep. How I love my girls! And for the coming week, it may be time to transition Laina into her room with Jules... let's see how that goes!
